# Writing a great job post

## Give candidates a clear picture of the role while keeping your hiring criteria aligned with what you actually need. ImpactHire can create and refine a first draft, but you control the job post and what is published.

**Writing the job description**

Your job description is part of the information candidates see when the job is published.

Keep the description aligned with the role details, skills, seniority, and requirements you intend to assess during hiring.

The current ImpactHire documentation does not specify guidance for inclusive language, reading level, or how to distinguish must-have from nice-to-have requirements.

**Editing AI drafts**

ImpactHire can generate job content from your description of the role and can help rewrite or tighten existing content.

AI-generated content is a draft. You can accept, edit, or reject it before publishing.

ImpactHire can also suggest skills and seniority. Review these suggestions against the role you are actually hiring for rather than treating the AI draft as the final definition of the job.
