# Publishing to job boards
## Publish a job once in ImpactHire and choose where candidates can discover it, without managing a separate hiring process for each destination. Your job remains the source of the application process while connected job boards provide additional ways for candidates to find it.
**Connecting job boards**
Job board connections are managed at the account level by an Owner or Admin.
Once a supported board is connected, a Recruiter can select it as a destination for an individual job.
For a job to be sent to a board:
- The board must be connected.
- The job must be Open.
- The board must be selected for that job.
ImpactHire provides the job information to the board. The board controls when it collects that information and whether the job appears, so ImpactHire cannot guarantee when or whether a listing will be displayed.
**LinkedIn**
LinkedIn requires an account-level connection and association with your company's LinkedIn page.
Once connected, LinkedIn can be selected as a destination for individual jobs.
**Indeed**
The current ImpactHire documentation does not specify an active, selectable Indeed integration.
**Google for Jobs**
Google for Jobs is not a separate job board destination or switch in ImpactHire.
Public ImpactHire job pages include machine-readable job information that search engines can discover. Google decides whether and when a job appears in its search results.
If all public destinations for a job are turned off, the job page is marked so search engines should not index it.
**Private link**
Every published job has a private link that you can share directly.
A private link is **unlisted, not secret**. Someone with the link can open the job and apply.
This means you can keep a job Open and accepting applications without listing it on your career page or connected job boards.
