Inviting and removing people

Keep access current without losing your hiring history. Invite people with the access they need, then deactivate them when they leave while preserving their name against the decisions and actions they previously recorded.

Inviting someone

An Admin invites someone and chooses the access they should receive.

The invitation process is:

  1. Enter the person's email address.
  2. Choose their account role.
  3. Choose their teams and team role.
  4. ImpactHire sends an invitation email.
  5. The person accepts the invitation and sets a password.

The invited person joins your existing company account. They provide their own name but do not repeat the company onboarding process.

Deactivating someone

An Admin can deactivate a person who no longer needs access.

Deactivation takes effect immediately. The person can no longer sign in, and their seat becomes available for someone else.

If the person is the named hiring manager of an open job, you must reassign that job before you can deactivate them.

The Owner cannot be deactivated. Ownership must be transferred first.

The hiring record

Deactivating someone does not remove their previous activity.

Their name remains on scorecards, notes, emails, stage changes, and other hiring activity they completed. This keeps the record of who took each action intact even after that person leaves your account.
